Summer Dates – POSTPONED
“What’s my path?” It’s a question many students have yet to answer when it comes to direction in their life.
Students today face the challenge of creating a career and lifestyle that connects to their unique gifting and values. Challenge Camp provides a space where students ages 11-17 can learn about working in their personal gifting, financial freedom, environmental consciousness and personal health.
Challenge Camp is a day camp format that includes activities, field trips and conversations with local professionals. Each day speaks to developing healthy practices and professional gifting in today’s culture. Our aim is to encourage students to develop awareness of their talents and build connections in the local community.
Each day begins with a guest speaker who shares about the path they have taken and the insights they’ve gained in their career. Field trips are incorporated to provide access to the outdoors, local businesses, and sports. Small group activities are facilitated that encourage collaboration and teamwork. Each activity is designed to address one of the five key challenges we have identified:
Challenge of Finding your Path
- Awareness of options to work in your gifting
Challenge of Social Media Culture
- Movement towards recapturing attention and happiness
Challenge of Debt Culture
- Awareness and planning towards financial freedom
Challenge of Self Care
- Investing in mental and physical health
Challenge of Community Involvement
- Environmental stewardship and community impact
Challenge Camp is possible because of our amazing partners. Contact us if you or your business is interested in helping students find their path by sponsoring Challenge Camp. Funds collected go towards the camp scholarships and helping reach students during the school year.
